About The Event

The online gaming industry is growing rapidly in India. In 2022, the industry generated over Rs 13,000 crore in revenues, and the earnings are expected to touch Rs 20,000 crore by 2025. India has an opportunity to become a hub for developers, but this will need a facilitating atmosphere in the policy sphere as there are a number of unresolved tax and governance issues that could affect the growth of this sunrise industry.

Policy Circle is organising a roundtable discussion on the Changing Policy Landscape for Online Gaming Industry in India. The event will be held on September 29 at the India International Centre, New Delhi. The roundtable will bring together policymakers, industry executives as well as tax and legal experts to discuss the challenges and possible solutions. We believe that this event will be an important opportunity to shape the future of the online gaming industry in the country.
